For Spring Break 2009 the Myers Clan plus PJ's mom and my mom went to Park City, Utah. We stayed at Deer Valley. Jordan went to ski school for two days, we could only talk Jake into one day. On Thursday we all skied together. The kids are quickly becoming better skiers than mom, they have some more work to do before they can out ski dad :). I did not fall any while skiing but did somehow mange to fall right in front of a ski instructor while "poling" on flat snow - go figure.

Taj Mahal

In 1631, Shah Jahan, emperor during the Mughal empire's period of greatest prosperity, was griefstricken when his third wife, Mumtaz Mahal, died during the birth of their fourteenth child, Gauhara Begum.[5] In her dying breath, Mumtaz Mahal urged Shah Jahan to build a mausoleum for her, more beautiful than any the world had seen before. Shah Jahan granted his wife's wish, and construction of the Taj Mahal began in 1632, one year after her death.[6] The court chronicles of Shah Jahan's grief illustrate the love story traditionally held as an inspiration for Taj Mahal.[7][8] The principal mausoleum was completed in 1648 and the surrounding buildings and garden were finished five years later.
